Our individualized approach to healthcare insurance allows each employee to select the plan that works best for their coverage needs and budget. Stonehill generously contributes to help cover the monthly premium costs, with many employees paying nothing out-of-pocket for premiums.

We cover the cost of CNA classes, clinicals, books, and testing fees for employees who wish to become Certified Nursing Assistants. With one of our own nurses as the instructor and hands-on training provided on-site in a familiar, supportive environment, you can confidently take your first steps toward a rewarding career in nursing with us.
Stonehill's 76-hour CNA course prepares students for employment as a nurse aide. The course includes a combination of classroom, hands-on labs, and on-site clinical experience that addresses basic nursing and personal care skills, patient rights and communication.
CNA Training Program requirements:
- Must be 16 years old
- Must be employed by Stonehill in either dining, housekeeping, independent/assisted living community, home care, or nursing.
- If hired in a non-nursing department, employees must meet their hours in that position for 6 months before transferring to nursing.
- If hired in the nursing department, the CNA class and the State certification testing must be completed within 4 months of hire date.
Our employees are eligible to receive incentive compensation bonuses based on achieving our organizational goals. We also offer referral bonuses for employees who help us grow our team and sign-on bonuses for select positions.
